About this product

When you agree a job with a private customer at their home, online or over the phone, they usually have 14 days to change their mind. Start the work inside that time without their request on record, and if they cancel you may not be able to charge for what you did. Forget to give them their cancellation information, and the period can run for up to a year - and for a job agreed at their home, not giving it is a criminal offence.

Add a row for each job. It works out when each cancellation period ends - 14 days, starting the day after the job was agreed - and flags any job booked to start inside it without the customer's early-start request recorded. It flags missing cancellation information, works out the longer period when it was given late, and leaves alone the cases the rules exclude: jobs agreed at your premises, urgent repairs the customer called you out for, and jobs agreed at the home for £42 or less.
