Fill in your business once and it appears at the top of every document you make from then on. Add a client and they are saved, so the second invoice to the same person takes seconds.

Line items carry their own VAT rate, which is the part most free invoice tools get wrong - a zero-rated item can sit on the same invoice as a standard-rated one and the totals still come out right. A percentage discount comes off the net and the VAT is recalculated on what is actually being charged, rather than being left overstated.

The document previews live as you type, on white, at the size it will print. When it looks right, Save as PDF sends it to your browser's own print dialogue - no watermark, no per-document charge, no sending your client's address to a server you have never heard of.

Your business details, your clients and your last document all stay in this browser. There is an export button for backing them up or moving to another computer, and nothing at all leaves your machine unless you press it.

Invoice numbers step on by themselves. Set INV-0001 once and the next one is INV-0002.
