About this product
The reason jobs sit undone is rarely that someone decided not to do them. It is that nobody asked again, and asking again is uncomfortable when it is a person you work with every day.
You keep a shared sheet: the job, who owns it, when it is due. One day past due they get a nudge. Three days, a firmer one. Seven days, firmer again. All three go to them, not to you, and all three give them an easy way out - finish it, or move the date, or say what is in the way.
After fourteen days it comes to you instead, with who owns it, when it was due and what the sheet says. That escalation is the whole point: you find out about the stuck job without having had to remember to check.
It works just as well for a business of one, where it is simply a list that does not let you forget. Set the escalation to 0 and it never tells on anyone.
