About this product
Every limited company client carries four statutory deadlines a year, each counted a different way from a different date. This works them all out for you and watches them.
You keep one row per company: its year end, when it was incorporated, and the period of the last accounts, CT payment, CT600 and confirmation statement you dealt with. Every morning it fills in the four due dates on that row and rebuilds an Upcoming tab listing every deadline across every client, soonest first, coloured by how close it is.
It counts the way Companies House and HMRC do. Accounts are due nine months after the year end - and a month-end stays a month-end, so a 30 June year end is due on 31 March. Corporation tax is nine months and one day, so that same company pays on 1 April. First accounts follow the 21-month rule from incorporation. The CT600 is twelve months after the year end, and the confirmation statement fourteen days after its statement date.
When a deadline reaches 60, 30, 14 or 7 days, it goes into one email to you - one email a day at most, however many clients are involved. Anything missed is flagged the day after. On Mondays you get the month ahead. Any director who has not yet verified their identity with Companies House is flagged against that company's next confirmation statement.
When you file something, change the date on the row and that deadline moves on to next year by itself.
It is a reminder system, not advice: it works out dates from what you put in the sheet, using the rules as they stood in September 2026. You remain responsible for your filings. When a rule or rate changes, the setting that holds it is on the Settings tab.
Features
- Accounts, corporation tax payment, CT600 and confirmation statement dates for every company, worked out every morning
- Counts the Companies House way: 30 June + 9 months is 31 March, and first accounts follow the 21-month rule
- One email to you when deadlines reach 60, 30, 14 and 7 days - never one email per deadline
- An Upcoming tab across every client, soonest first, coloured by urgency
- Flags directors who still need to verify their identity with Companies House
- Dormant companies skip corporation tax; ceased or struck-off ones drop off the list
- Can ask clients for their records 90 days before the accounts deadline - off until you switch it on
- Every message is recorded against the client, the deadline and its date, so nothing is sent twice and next quarter's reminders are new ones
- Starts in test mode - everything comes to you until you say otherwise
- Warns you when a deadline lands on a weekend or bank holiday, and names the working day before
- The wording lives on a tab in the sheet, so you change it without touching code
- Runs inside your own Google account. No client data is sent to us or to anyone else
