Engagement Letter & AML Review Tracker

When a supervisor visits, the first question is whether every client has a signed engagement letter and up-to-date due diligence. This keeps the answer yes.

You keep one row per client: when the engagement letter was signed, their risk rating, when customer due diligence was last done, and when their ID document expires. It works out when each needs reviewing - on the cycle your firm has set - and warns you at 60, 30 and 7 days, in one email for every client at once, and again if one goes overdue.

A client with no signed letter, or no due diligence date, is flagged to you once as NOT RECORDED - the gaps you most need to know about. The review periods are settings, because they are your firm's policy rather than fixed in law: the starting points are yearly for engagement letters and 12, 24 and 36 months for high, medium and low risk due diligence. Change them to match your own risk assessment.

If you want, it can ask a client for a current ID document 30 days before theirs expires. That is off until you switch it on.
