About this product

You work out what each client owes when you do their return. Then, months later, they forget. This reminds them.

You keep one row per client: what they owe on 31 January - the balancing payment plus their first payment on account - and their second payment on account on 31 July, with their payment reference if you have it. Twenty-one days before each date they get a reminder with the amount, the reference and the GOV.UK page to pay on. Seven days before, a final reminder that mentions HMRC's interest on late payment.

31 January 2027 is a Sunday and 31 July 2027 a Saturday; the reminders say so and suggest paying by the Friday. If a date passes and you have not marked it paid, you get one email listing who.

It is a reminder system, not advice: it works out dates from what you put in the sheet, using the rules as they stood in September 2026. You remain responsible for your filings. When a rule or rate changes, the setting that holds it is on the Settings tab.
